It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earsie Ree Bogard, a beloved wife, mother, friend, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be remembered for years to come.

Earsie was born on 'date' in Benton County, Mississippi, to the late Wade Murdock and Ceolar Hoyle Murdock. She grew up with strong values and a sense of humor that would serve her well throughout her life. After completing her education, she attended school in Benton County and went on to become a dedicated homemaker.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Earsie was a loving wife to her late husband, James T. Bogard, and mother to two sons, Novis Bogard of Dallas, TX, and Steve Bogard; and two daughters, Sylvia (Bennie) Claiborne of Las Vegas, NV, and Carmeya Bogard of Magee, MS.

She is also survived by four grandchildren: Bensylton Claiborne, Francisco Claiborne, Jaimie Claiborne, all of Las Vegas, NV, and Jasmine Bogard of Jackson, MS; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members.

Earsie was a member of the South Ashland Church of Christ, where she confessed her faith in Christ. Her strong spirit and witty sense of humor made her a joy to be around, and her laughter and smile will be remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon at the same location, followed by burial at St Paul Skipper Springs Church Cemetery in Grand Junction, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to the South Ashland Church of Christ. You are invited to share your favorite memories and condolences with the family through our online guestbook.

Rest in peace, Earsie Ree Bogard. Your love, laughter, and legacy will never be forgotten.
